Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC):
A Saudi governmental organization in charge of the desalination of saline water, production of electrical power and supply of desalinated water throughout the Kingdom’s regions through its own transportation and supply systems. SWCC is the largest desalinated water producer in the world, with a total capacity up to 4.6 million cubic meters per day and with 29 stations spread over 17 sites on the east and west coasts of the Kingdom, representing therefore 62% of the total production of desalinated water in the Kingdom, while the rest is produced by the private sector and other entities.

National Water Company (NWC):
A Saudi government-owned joint stock company established to provide water and waste water treatment services according to the latest international standards. NWC is currently in charge of providing water and waste water services to the cities of Riyadh, Jeddah, Mecca and Taif and has future plans to expand the scope of services to cover other regions in KSA.

Water and Electricity Corporation (WEC):
A limited liability company in charge of selling and purchasing water and electricity and providing other required services. The company acts as the counterparty under the Electricity and Water Purchase Agreement and purchases water and electricity from the private sector and sells it to the Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC) and Saudi Electricity Company respectively.

Saudi Irrigation Organization:
The organization in charge of the management, operation and maintenance of the irrigation and drainage projects implemented by the State to achieve agricultural and development goals in Al-Hasa Oasis. The Organization aims to provide irrigation water for agricultural holdings in Al-Hasa Oasis with an area of 16 thousand hectares as well as improving the agricultural environment.
